Remembering U.L. Washington

U.L. Washington passed away on Mar. 3, 2024. In 2001 I interviewed Washington, while he was a roving hitting instructor with the Minnesota Twins organization. I was a broadcaster for the New Britain Rock Cats, the AA affiliate of the Twins and Washington was kind enough to give me a few minutes of his time for a pregame, radio interview.
